While her fellow inspectors are busy with the case of a young woman who is the victim of a violent boyfriend, Anna Gori has to face a desperate situation: Pavel has discovered her double identity and is threatening to kill her. The inspectors of the District are dealing with a particularly hot case: their colleague Donati, the coroner of the 10th Tuscolano, is the main suspect in the murder of her husband Walter and the lead that could exonerate her is linked to a single, slender clue.
