Giulia is in prison, but Luca continues to deal with the investigation, perhaps he has found a small crack in the accusatory system. In the meantime, Barbara is kidnapped by the mysterious serial killer. Pietro and Gabriele manage to save her, but a sensational twist completely overturns the direction of the investigation.
