One day when Pinoko and Sharaku are playing by the park they encounter a scruffy dog that promptly steals Pinoko’s purse - but as they begin their pursuit, a truck hits the four-legged thief. Upset that the poor hound might die, Pinoko immediately calls for Black Jack to save the canine, but can she persuade him to let her keep her?
